About Immanuel Lutheran School Immanuel Lutheran School is located in the heart of Colorado Springs at 828 E. Pikes Peak Ave. Immanuel is a Lutheran elementary school for students in preschool through 8th grade. Founded in 1951, Immanuel Lutheran School celebrates its 57th year of educating God's children in the Colorado Springs area. The State of Colorado and the National Lutheran School Association accredit Immanuel Lutheran. The teaching staff holds current Colorado Certification in addition to many years of graduate work and teaching experience. Our school has an academic curriculum that provides quality education in a total Christian setting. Religious instruction is a part of each day's program, with a Christian environment in evidence throughout the day and within all subject areas. Students benefit from a well-rounded curriculum that includes extra course offerings such as art, music, band, handbells, drama, computer technology, and a full physical education program.
